Face2Face Banking


StonehamBank is dedicated to providing their customers with an optimum banking experience. Early in the fall the bank adopted a video banking integration. With the holidays around the corner, the bank realized that they wouldn’t be able to host their annual Santa visit at their branches. Because of that, the bank decided they would leverage their Face2Face Banking integration to connect with their customers during the holiday season.

Project Goals

The Ask: The bank wanted to take advantage of their new video banking technology, Face2Face Banking, and use it as a portal for Santa meet & greets.

The Answer: Develop a plan to promote both the bank’s Face2Face Banking technology to make the holidays easier and the chance to meet Santa at a safe and social distance – here's how we did it!


The bank sent out an eblast to their customers promoting a free live video chat with Santa Claus that customers could schedule through one of the Video Banking representatives. Additionally, they promoted it organically through social media posts and a Facebook event. The majority of promoting this campaign was done organically and through word of mouth at the branches leading up to the event.


The campaign was such a success that they were able to fill up all the time slots with Santa and ended up adding an additional day for people to schedule their Face2Face with Santa.

First organic post had over 1,300 impressions and 60 engagements (one of their top reaching posts, and on the high end of engagement levels for them). Social media referrals to the website were up 85% over the previous month.

There was an outpour of positive feedback regarding the Free Live Video Chat with Santa Claus. Customers reached out to the bank personally to share their appreciate for providing a safe and socially distanced option for their children to interact with Santa.
