Midcoast Federal Credit Union, located on Maine’s coastline, came to us with a request that their website embody their enhanced brand identity and core values – namely providing members with sound financial information.
During website discovery discussions, Midcoast talked about their involvement with the community, how connected they were and how important it was to them to have this reflected in their site. We recommended incorporating compelling local photography to achieve this. Our team collaborated with the folks at Midcoast to capture the essense of their culture, community, and members through visiting Maine’s coast and Midcoast's branches with a professional photographer. Along with these original images, our designers incorporated elements of their new branding into the website.
New Website Goals:
The end result produced a site that was not developed for a sales culture but for open communication. Starting with the homepage and filtering throughout the website, financial literacy was highlighted to help members plan for the future and successfully reach their financial goals. The simple navigation and responsive design allows those out-at-sea or on dry land to find what they need quickly. The theme also encourages local pride and appreciation for the beauty of their coastline.
