PROJECT REQUIREMENTS

Heighten brand awareness and position ACCU as the number one choice for local banking.

OVERVIEW

ACCU was looking for a way to broaden their social media reach within their field of membership.


STRATEGY

We proposed a program that would build community through relevant content, use campaigns and contests to increase engagement and include other Arizona brands (media partners, community groups, etc). We also proposed that ACCU’s brand promise and tagline “Every Stage of Life” be incorporated into all of their social media. Shortly after relaunching their Facebook page, we launched a “My Arizona” Facebook photo contest asking fans to post their favorite picture of Arizona. The campaign was a huge success, with 188 photo entries, nearly 2,000 votes cast and 26,000 page views to the app.


RESULTS

In October 2014, The Financial Brand reported that ACCU made the POWER 100 Social Media Rankings for Credit Unions.

  • #66 in Top 100 Credit Unions on Twitter with the Most Followers
